You have to take the silicone sleeve off every time you charge ?!? And you will have to charge preemptively, so how is this better than rechargeable batteries? How many mAh?

What batteries don't need preemptive charging?

also you can slip the sleeve off the back without fully removing it

You can also walk in front of your Model A car , insert the crank handle, and crank it until you hear the engine start.

But you use a key to start your car, don't you?

I just picked mine up today and the guy behind the counter said they were giving me a refund as the price has gone DOWN!

Checked my email when we got home and my PayPal has been refunded $2.11
Seems like a decent little unit. Time will tell I guess.

Looks like the price is still $6.99 on the website!? Maybe it was a store specific price reduction?
