Gosh, if they've managed to keep nausea under control in this port, this is killer.

How much better of a deal are you guys expecting for Black Friday season? I'm thinking maybe they throw in a couple more games and/or reduce the price another $25-50.

Does anyone know the movement options? Did they enable a stomach friendly way to move or give players options?

If you move in VR (if you walk like in the non-VR Fallout 4) and you stand still in real life...the nausea will come.

Simply put: move in VR & move in reality = same thing...no nausea. If its different then nausea will be induced sooner or later.

FYI: approx 3% of people will always feel nausea in VR and don't get used to it. (Oxford VR motion research)

I'm pretty sensitive to vestibular disconnect, but most thoughtfully designed Vive games and experiences do not have any negative impact on me. This is coming from someone who gets nauseous just from looking over his shoulder.

Pretty sure they have both touchpad and teleport movement. Most people don't get nauseous with teleport, and touchpad movement is becoming increasingly popular as people realize it doesn't bother them or they get used to it (VR legs).

Exact same question. My wife has been dying for a Vive and I was planning to get one for her on Black Friday. I actually want to get her one now but I've been waiting for Black Friday for a good deal.

Does anyone expect Black Friday to have a "better" deal then this one?

Thanks!!

I would be surprised to see this go under $550 on BF personally. So it depends on what game bundles are offered and what each game means to you.

I don't expect this to go under $550 either, but I think some people are expecting $550 + Fallout VR + Other games, which is obviously better then $599 + Fallout VR. Of course nobody knows for sure.

Only reason I'm considering this one is because she would love Fallout. But I have a feeling it's going become $550 + Fallout VR + More on BF.

Not sure.
