Be careful, they do carry some crappy brands so don't blindly buy whatever simply because it's Nordstrom and on clearance. My suggestion is a quick Amazon cross reference.. like some huge sale items are actually very close to their regular retail price thus you're not really getting that 75% off.

I've got 7 For All Mankind jeans and Diesel that I really like for about $60 during these sales so it's diffidently worth checking out.

Also, they do have 75% events but those typically dont come until December - January.

Dont always write off Nordstrom too. Their 'Nordstrom Mens Shop' and '1901' brand are cheap and good quality. They sell the wardrobe basics which will last for awhile imo

Agreed! I buy their Nordstrom branded men's shirts for work during these sales for $15-$23. They are very good quality for that price and last for years. I'm a cost-per-wear thinker, so for me, it is definitely worth the premium over a cheaper shirt with thin fabric that won't last as long.

We also buy children's shoes sometimes on these sales as well. Overall, better quality than a cheap Walmart or Target pair and sometimes even cheaper!

As mentioned earlier, don't just assume that even the 25% off clearance price is the best. A quick price check online at Amazon or other stores will set your expectations.

Also have bought some other random items like a Victorinox spinner carry-on bag for $30 and great quality men's dress socks for $1 - $2.

Anyone know there pricing policy? I bought a clearance item last week and was wondering if they would adjust the price with to reflect the extra 25% off.

they will not price adjust. i fear you'd have to return and rebuy in store... but before you do, have them check the price, it may be higher in store than what you paid.

I asked an associate in store during my last visit and they don't adjust prices for past purchases. You can still return but that item won't be available for purchase again for a few days.

Yes, must return and rebuy. I know this from experience. (I bought a pair of boots online and the price went down even before I received the boots in the mail. NR wouldn't do a price adjustment for me. So I bought the boots again and took the first pair back to the store. So NR gets to pay for shipping twice!)

They will not. You could return it and order another but that $8 shipping though...

They don't do price adjusting in store either? I just bought a bunch of stuff there...opps. It probably would have all been bought super fast tho anyway I'm guessing.
