Need Appliances (Fridge/Wahser/Dryer)

Does anyone know if I should wait till thanksgiving for Fridge and Washer/Dryer or buy them on current discounts?
Do high end appliances go on sale during thanksgiving?

Hard to say. I think you can find some good deals during BF, but usually it is on a specific model. I'm in the same boat. Started watching a specific Samsung fridge, stove and microwave in early May. It was around $3900 for all three. I checked the price every week or so and there was no change. Finally had a enough saved a few weeks ago and went to check and now it is close to $4900 for all 3 items. I'm hoping Samsung runs a good promotion during BF or during the holiday season. Just not sure since those are not something that people buy during that time of year.

I was reading on CR that November is the best time to buy appliances. All the holiday and end of year sales are the biggest at that time of year. I am also holding out until then as well.

I too am in need of a new Fridge. Has anyone used On-line stores like U.S Appliance or AJ Madison?
With free delivery and no sales tax (i'm in CA), they seem to beat any local deals. Are they any better or worse when it comes to delivery and installation compared to local stores (BB, Lowes...)??
