These drives are a Self Encrypting Drive (SED). With this drive you can manage hardware based encryption for seamless 256bit data encryption.

They also give you access to the Intel SSD support tools including migrations software and much much more.

What does clean pull mean?
Fancy way of saying they are back to like new. Smilie

"Please note: This product a Certified Clean Pull. This means the drives in this listing have been removed, or parted out, from perfectly working personal computers. Each is fully inspected, tested, wiped clean, and repackaged. This drive does not include retail packaging."

Thanks. Missed that from the listing. So it basically means used.
ebay lingo: "User refurbished", though I am not sure difference between "used" vs "user refurbished". However, I find value in "manufacturer refurbished" because it normally comes with manufacturer warranty.

Correct at very least they had an OS on them at one point. Weather or not they got used I don't know. But the couple we have tested here have less than 100GB written which is nothing they are rated for 36.5 Terabytes Written. 100GB equals only .0027% used.

So does iconian get paid for every buy or how does this work? Since a customer service rep is in here within 11 mins of the deal posting

The 4K speed is what matters for running your OS and programs and these things have smoking fast in 4K speeds. Check the benchmarks.

During use you would have a very hard time seeing a difference between these and say the NVMe Samsung Evo 960.

This is a budget way to get a super speedy system/program drive and keep your HDD for backup of larger files and/or programs you do not use often.

Good observation. We are certified to run deals with SD. They tell me when they post stuff. iconian does not get any commission that I am aware of. SD does get a commission on sales driven from their platform but that is well known. If you have any other questions I would be happy to help.

A real "clean pull" should mean a Brand New Computer that was parted out.

so this add is Deceptive and should be listed USED, dirty pull.

Lol, the "clean" part means it has been secure erased. I'm not sure what a dirty pull is but it sounds very dirty. Ha ha

Considering how poorly you handled my issue with the Smartthings sensors, you can't pay Slickdeals enough to get my business.

The SmartThings promos have gone amazingly. We have shipped nearly 70k SmartThings devices in less than 1 year with multiple highly successful FP deals. I don't know of a single person who has reached out to us that we have not tried our best to help. When we cannot help we offer a full refund. Also, we are not SmartThings techs by any means and have never claimed to be but if you have any questions about SSD we are the place to go for that. We have been selling flash memory based devices since October 2000.

I bought smartthings sensors from a deal listed on here. Promptly charged my credit card and then apparently lost my order and can't seem to refund me. Email support is slower than molasses but I was able to get a human in accounting on the phone who was nice. But I'm still out my $100. Not worried since it was a credit card but I'm waiting on them to make it right before doing a charge back.
