I bought one of these about a month or two ago on sale. It does NOT last as long as my AA rechargeables.

I was pretty disappointed. If it is dead you can't charge it while you are playing either. It drains the battery faster than the charge.

I bought this towards the end of August and have been satisfied with it. I can plug the cord into the battery while it's in the controller and still use the controller. My kids just lost one of the batteries so I'll probably by this again since I paid around $18 last time.
