This is a nice drop in price from a previous Frontpage deal in January when this was $79.99. -Corwin

Headphone Input Impedance: 150 ohm

Keep in mind you'll need to use an headphone amp to use these well otherwise they will be very quiet and possibly distorted if you crank the volume up all the way up due to that. Bad reviews of poor sound are probably due to that.

Pictures show leatherette, description says velour which should be foam? I'm assuming the pictures are the correct headset and more accurate. I hate leatherette/pleather cause it flakes apart after a few years.

Is the cable replaceable, if so, 2.5mm or standard 3.5mm at the headphone jack?

LOVE my PC 360 I use for work, open design is great and sound quality is fantastic. I paid $100 for mine and considered it a good deal. The manual mute action of flipping the boom mic is key for meetings IMO.

The closeback version of these (the 350, the one listed here) are "leather" the openback are "velour". This version doesn't have a replaceable cable. The newer model does.

Plenty of negative reviews recently on NewEgg. Food for thought.

This is the PC350, not PC360.

Are these even considered good. I know the brand is good... But is the model worth anything for gaming?

Velour isn't foam. It's a soft, but durable fabric. In regard to your issues with pleather, that it isn't universally true. There are many grades of faux leather. One of my vehicles has a 30 year old pleather wrapped steering wheel that hasn't flaked or cracked.

? Yes? It's gaming, not listening to a new album in FLAC. In a market dominated by brands like Turtle Beach, Sennheiser is a safe bet. I have 2 of their headphones on both ends of the price spectrum and they're my favorites.

Foam, fabric, cloth, same difference when referring to earcup material.

Sennheiser uses the same cheap leatherette on all their headphones, it's obviously not on par with the material used on your steering wheel. My HD 201 suffered from the same issue.

To the people asking about PS4/Xbox use, this has dual 3.5mm outputs for mic and audio. You'll need a Y adapter to TRRS, may be included in the box, but not the most ideal setup. Also given the high impedance you're probably better off just getting something else for console only.

This is a very good price. I have these, use them for my conference calls for work, and they are awesome. I know I'm on mute when I raise the microphone boom up. No need to click the mute button on your teleconference application, and when it's your turn to talk, you're on mute. Just lower the boom, and you talk. In an office environment, it blocks out the background noise quite well (they are passive noise reduction). Comments I receive from others is that they can hear me clearly, and hardly any background noise gets transmitted.

This is a great deal.
