Intel's daddy is now AMD. https://static.slickdealscdn.com/ima...-heartbeat.gif

I don't get it. AMD goes 65W for maximum power savings (saving the earth) while Intel just says: "Screw you, we're going 95w like this is 2009 [intel.com]".

EDIT: They have a couple of 65Ws actually. Here's the entire lineup available at Newegg:

They haven't been put up for sale. They've been on sale at Tigerdirect though for about 24 hours now:

K versions are overclock-able, it need more power to drive it, regular i3 and i5 are 65W. BTW, intel still using 14nm to make this generation CPU, while AMD had advanced to 12nm.(reason why Ryzen use significant less power)

Personally, I prefer intel over AMD as well, just from my pass experience, window OS more stable with intel side, (less blue screen) and my intel build last longer life than my AMD build.
Same here. Never again AMD...

I've had no issues with AMD, but neither with Intel . It'll be interesting in the coming days to see professionals and enthusiasts compare ryzen to coffee lake.
