Good deal for productivity only, but like others have said, pixel density will be an issue and may make it difficult to read text. Still, a lot of real estate for $300. I personally would look at a cheaper 34" widescreen for around this same price or cheaper... but that's me...

No, it won't. 1080p isn't suddenly shit now that 4k is an option. 1080p at this size is fine.

Everyone will say 32" at 1080p is bad... but there's no doubt this is going to be a big upgrade from my craptastic 22" 1680x1050 TN monitors at work. Thanks for the deal.

Was bummed I missed these last round, which was 1 monitor for $150. Wish I could get three instead of two though. Can't use four.

Save the 4th one as a backup/emergency.

good for productivity? no way, you're losing so much workable screen area with 1080 on a 31.5''. i do agree with the other guys comment, in reference to not needing 4k and 1080 doesn't automatically turn to shit, but at the same time 2560x1440 ads a massive amount of work space to aid in productivity. hell, annoys me when screens are 16:9 because i lose the 160 pixels i'd have on a 16:10 at 2560x1600.

as i type on my work PC, which has a 30'' 2560x1600, with 24''ers on either side at 1920x1080. at home i have a single 27'' 2560x1440, i'd like more space at home for programming and whatnot, but the 27'' 1440 is more than enough for gaming.

monitor in this deal is what you buy for a kids room, took hook his xbox up to and sit 4ft away playing games... that's about it.

has nothing to do with 4k, 2560x1440 is still a thing and what you should have at this size monitor. you're losing a lot of screen workspace and giving up a lot of physical desk space with a monitor like this...
