I have an old computer that runs at 325W on max load on a 650W PSU that I want to use for something else. Will this 450W be a good replacement for running this PC at max load 24/7 for distributed computing?

Yes should be fine. I think you get the maximum efficiency out of a PS around 80%

Great timing and sick price!

I'm about to build a budget PC, and this item will certainly help to keep the budget down. I just ordered one.

we can use it for all type of pc?
Define all types. This will not work on small form factor for obvious reasons.

World Community Grid and SETI@home. No team. Any recommendations on something more worthwhile?
