Good deal.. did you notice if tools to press on RJ45 connectors were on clearance at all? Any leads on where to find good/value crimpers?

Whats the difference between riser cables and the indoor/outdoor cables?
They both have the same gauge.

Insulation. Riser cables should be used for risers.

Also fire code requires riser cable.

I've used this stuff before. It is junk if you are wiring a whole house. It is very thin and kinks easily. Be warned.

What I noticed is that if it's made in Brazil the quality is bad. Made in US then it's decent.

I completely wired my new house. I used Belkin and Monoprice stuff. They were both fine quality and were both much easier to run than the product HD carried. I ran about 200 feet short, and HD was the only store that carrier Cat 6 locally. I was forced to use it, and it decreased productivity by 25% just fighting withe the stupid stuff.

Like you I will spend more and quality knowing the amount I am saving by not having a contractor do it. Thanks for the reply. Even though Monoprice irritates me by paying shipping they keep getting accolades for decent products.
