I have knock off ones that look nearly identical to these except mine came in fewer colors. Aside from a few out of about 130 pieces) that i had to crazy glue the edges back together after splitting open, they have held up awesome, and the magnets are way stronger than the popular brand. This let's my kids make more kinds of stuff, simply because the bottom tiles can hold more weight before a whole structure or shape comes down. I'll probably buy more for the kids once the ones I bought go on sale again, I don't want to risk these ones being a bit different in size. Oh, I've had them about 6 months and they get abused daily. Abused as in my demon 18 month old will slam big shapes I make down onto the tile floor

It's probably hit or miss if kids continue playing with them after the initial craze. My daughter's 4, and right now she wants to be a "builder" like daddy so mine have and will continue to log hundreds of hours. Oh didn't mention in previous post but these end up all over the place. I've found them lining the tub, fridge, tool chests, car door once

This is actually something to be concerned about if there are younger kids around.

These things are awesome... at least the name brand. My wife and I use them more than our daughter, lol. Well, these and Brain Flakes.
