Great deal for the HD8 version. Coupon code works on multiple items. I just ordered 2 HD8 Kids for $99 each. Thanks OP.

I still have 36 fire 7 and 8 tablets sitting in a box in my living room. Got them for $15 and $25 a few weeks ago with the American Express deal. Still have no idea what I'm gonna do with them

Perfect timing. Just set my alert 2 days ago for this. Needed one by 10/16. My lucky day... now if that Google Home from the NYT would ship I'd be all set...

Just for reference the Prime Day deal was 2 of the HD8 kids tablets with cases for $149.98. So it's possible Black Friday is similar, but no real way of knowing yet. I grabbed 2 and have been saving them for Christmas

Warning: The app management software on these things SUCKS!!!

Read some of the negative reviews on the kids tablets. They aren't kidding. These farking things are a nightmare. You would be far better served buying a Kurio kids tablet or another brand. Unless things have drastically changed on the kids tablets, stay away.

The tablet itself is decent, but the whole selling point of the tablet is the app. And the app is pure shit. fark it's 5:06am and I am getting irrationally angry thinking about how difficult and frustrating it was dealing with it was.

Stay away from this shit.

I am a huge Amazon fanboy. Prime member since the day it launched. Have more of their hardware products than I can bring myself to admit to owning..order from them at least once or twice a week. But man, their kids tablet is SHIT. AVOID THIS THING.

The ONLY thing this is good for is rooting, erasing all of the bullshit on it, and having a normal tablet for yourself and not your kid.

What's an advantage of this over regular (non-Kids' edition), which can be found for about half the price? All Kindles work really well with parental controls, so I'm wondering why would you want to pay more for this one. (I know, the bumper thing, but you can get one for about $15.)

2 year no questions asked warranty and 1 year of the kids software thing
