From the TnC:
Bonus points earned in a monthly billing cycle are generally available to be used at the beginning of the next billing cycle; bonus points earned on purchases made near the end of a billing cycle may take up to one additional billing cycle to become available. You'll see bonus points you've earned on chase.com and on your monthly card billing statement.

Repost??
Well, I also received a mail saying I'd get points for Android Pay on my Chase Reserve.
So instead of blindly posting "Not sure if its targeted....", I took the pain of going to the chase website, making sure it is not a targeted offer just for me, and then posted this for Android/Apple/Chase/Samsung Pay users.
Hoping this is more useful for fellow SD'ers Smilie

Your post is definitely better than the other one. Thanks for putting extra efforts to find more info for the community. Applause

I have a Chase Sapphire card but rarely ever use it. In fact I have no idea the rewards on it but thinking it might be 1 point per dollar so I guess this would that be 2 points per dollar spent?

So if I spent 1,250 in that time period via Samsung Pay, I'd get 2,500 points total and could buy a 25.00 gift card or use it for a 25.00 credit on my acct?

My thing is I pay bills and buy online a lot. I rarely use Samsung pay except grocery stores and not sure if it would be worth it. I'd probably do better to stick to Freedom unlimited and take the 1.5% on all purchases.

Wish we could use Samsung Pay for online purchases. :-)

This is pretty awesome. I bet it works with the 10% off Ebay, 20% off Dominos and 20% off Cabela's gift card too. With my CSR, at 2 points/dollar w/ a travel redemption value of 1.5 cents/point (or more if you transfer out to their travel partners) that's at least an extra 3% cash back.

This makes me want to use Samsung Pay for lunch, but most places ask for your credit card to swipe. I can only imagine the stares I'd get at Chipotle trying to pass my device over to the cashier :p, but 4 pts/dollar dining isn't bad.

If we use this through one of the mobile payments, do categories still go through? aka will I still get my bonuses for restaurants and travel, and this extra point on top of that?

yes. the website link shows that.

Chase Sapphire Reserve
EVERYDAY PURCHASES 1X point + 1 additional point =2X Points
TRAVEL & DINING AT RESTAURANTS PURCHASES 3X points + 1 additional point = 4X Points

Chase Sapphire Preferred
EVERYDAY PURCHASES 1X point + 1 additional point =2X Points
TRAVEL & DINING AT RESTAURANTS PURCHASES 2X points + 1 additional point =3X Points

I also received an email, but it only says I can use Chase Pay... from my understanding Chase Pay is different than Android Pay/Samsung Pay/Apple Pay in that it's not tap and pay. Will I still be able to earn extra points by using Android Pay/Samsung Pay?

Yes, the offer is in general on all the four digital wallets/payments supported by Chase.

Redeeming the points for cash is a lower conversion ratio, than for travel through the ultimate rewards portal.
Also, there are bonus categories where you get 2x/3x points on dining/travel etc.
So combining these two *could* give you more benefit than 1.5%.

Thanks. I rarely travel anymore so probably wouldn't benefit me to use it. I think I got the card for the initial incentives for signing up and just use it once or twice a year just so they don't close it but thanks for the response.
