noooo! it says "case" and i've never seen a case of 12 cans ... cancel! cancel!

A case is 24 cans, not 12. What OP bought was a case and a half, not 3 cases. The Amazon price mentioned was for a full case.
Most grocery stores sell 6 packs for $5 regular price, and they're cheaper on sale. Even with the 20% off, some flavors are cheaper on Amazon and they can all be had cheaper at grocery stores when on sale.
