Have been on the hunt for a new overpowered mini-pc for general use as HTPC, Plex Transcoder, or just stick in the lab for another Hyper-V host. Came across this awesome deal, they had 8 left before I bought mine.

I5-7500T (perfect for h.265 since the 7th gen has hardware decoding for HEVC)
8GB ddr4 which is enough to get started with 1 or 2 lightweight VMs if I want
Win10Pro license included which is great because I want to run Hyper-V
The storage is a 500GB HDD but I will throw an SSD or use one of my glyph atom USB 3.0 external SSDs to host the virtual machine images

Overall a nice little deal since they go on ebay for $470-500

Along with the h.265 transcoding ability, do you think this handles full 4k enough to overlap the full upgrade to 4k media?

Excellent timing. Got to use
https://slickdeals.net/f/10625776-amex-is-offering-10000-points-for-dell-com-purchases-and-6000-points-for-300-purchases-at-lenovo
thanks!

For what it's worth, apparently the T&C mention a Lenovo Outlet exclusion. Don't buy this and have your heart set on the extra Amex points.

There was a repost of that deal, that mentioned the T&C which included an "outlet" exclusion. Funny because that set off my "outlet" deal alert while this thread nor the original amex post did.

What a joke, just got this from Lenovo. I ordered 2 x m910 and had no problems checking out. I just on it almost instantly. Hope everyone else was more fortunate:

"Dear Valued Lenovo Customer,

Due to unforeseen demand, we regret that we no longer have the product you ordered in stock. We must cancel your order as a result, because the item(s) you ordered cannot be restocked. Again, we sincerely apologize for not being able to fulfill your order. A Lenovo Sales Specialist will be calling you to provide other options to meet your needs. For your new order, you will be given the same discount you received at the time of your order. However, we will not be able to provide the same specifications of the item you ordered at the sale price that was previously advertised.

We value you as a customer and apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. We hope you will accept this offer, and work with us to find a new solution for you.

Thank you for choosing Lenovo, we appreciate your business.

Mine had also been cancelled, but today I get a mail saying it was delayed. I called customer service and they confirmed that indeed the order is valid and I will receive my order next week... I'm still not 100% convinced, but there's hope...

same here. Looks like they probably screwed up on pricing and rather than honor the deal they just cancelled everyone's orders.
