The color of the switch refers to the pressure to click, and probably more important to everyone else, it refers to the *sound* that the keys make when pressed. For example, blues are very loud and clicky which a lot of people like (especially popular with gamers).

I have Redragon RGB keyboard with brown switches. Browns are not as loud as Blues, but I can still barely type while on a conference call without people making comments about how loud it is. I couldn't imagine typing with Blue switches while on a call or even worse in the office. You would annoy everyone around you!

Personally, I've had this keyboard for a little less than 9 months, and it's pretty great. There's no windows lock key, so I sometimes hit it accidentally while gaming. The RGB backlighting is really nice, not too dim or too blinding. The lighting is adjustable and there is some software where you can customize the color or mode to your preference. The software looks a little outdated, but it still gets the job done. Overall I would rate this keyboard an 8/10.

Side note: I purchased it for $89.99.
