$449 (especially after rebate) for the 2330 is not a deal. This deal has came up several times. $395 no rebates.

I'd much rather buy from Crutchfield with excellent support and free returns, rather than from Drive In Autosound.

Drive in Autosound is an authorized retailer and the purchase is through Newegg. It'd be one thing if you were buying from some sketchy grey market seller, but getting to buy through Crutchfield for an extra $50 plus dealing with a rebate isn't worth it IMO. To each his or her own.

To me the support and the discounted wiring and dash kit is worth the extra $50. To each their own.... agreed Smilie

Not to thread crap, but in case you wanted to change your mind and rebuy, just wanted to give you a heads up. The 2330NEX is $380-$50=$330 AR today at Newegg Flash via Drive in Autosound. Maybe Crutchfield is worth the extra $50, but now the delta is $120.

but you save $50 on the install supplies when you buy the stereo at Crutchfield. Also do you know the terms of the $50 MIR since it's not officially published? Is it Crutchfield only? or any authorized retailer? and even if it is you have to compare apples with apples. I bought the 1330 so it would still be $100 savings... well technically $65 since I have to still buy the dashkit/wiring

Just wanted to share a heads up. To me, that's still a $65 difference and no brainer. Plus, that depends on what else you need. For the car I'm rewiring, all I needed was $30 total worth of wiring harness adapter and DIN kit. How expensive are your wiring kits?!

The MIR is available, it's the same one for Crutchfield, DIS, and any other authorized retailer. http://pioneerrebates.com/Authori...claim.aspx

Thanks for all the info. I called Crutchfield and had a nice conversation with them. They've refunded me $55 for a pricematch Smilie

That's another good reason to stick with them!
