This may be a good deal for those of you that have been buying the reels posted lately on slickdeals. I myself really like cabelas salt striker brand, but then again I'm not out there fishing the salt everyday, anyways it's a good deal

Awesome price! I bought one in spring when it was on sale for $70. It's been nice to use and took it with me on my trip to the Bahamas.

Hey Shystalips, I researched some cash back sites and I like to be pro"ACTIVE" and enjoy the outdoors like a "JUNKY"... Are you in the same group/site I'm at? Lol

Terrible idea - Cardcash sends out too many bogus cards. The deal may be long gone by the time if/when a refund from Cardcash is obtained.

Are you kidding me, i meant use the gift card within 5-10 minutes. I have never had a bogus egift card from cardcash when used immediately. I do not advise waiting more than maybe a few days to use any cardcash gift card.

This is tempting... I had an 7ft 8-17 (I think) spinning travel rod like this that I either got from BassPro or Cabelas but it, along with another, was stolen on the way back from Catalina Island years ago. I stupidly left the rod tube bungeed to the top frame of my bike, thinking it would be fine. I had no eyes on the bike either as they stored all bikes in a cordoned area but accessible to anyone who was sitting near, so someone on the ferry pulled it out and walked off with it. I didn't even realize it till I got home and couldn't find the tube, which had a nice casting travel rod of the same type.

...not that I need another fishing rod but it sure would be nice

Their casting travel rods aren't on sale btw. If they were, I'd strongly consider getting one of each to replace the ones that were stolen...

I still have a 12-25 7' travel rod and it's pretty nice.

I'm not kidding you. There are plenty of reports of people receiving gift cards from CardCash with zero or a lesser balance than promised. CardCash then usually stalls while you try to recover your funds. If you needed those funds for the deal, you may not get them back in time for the deal to still be active.

If you really want to get gift cards to make this a more attractive deal, go with a supplier who doesn't have a track record of dishonesty, i.e. anyone but CardCash.

Yeah, I've heard the stories and I don't know the circumstances. I can only speak for my own experiences. I have bought probably 40-50 gift cards from them, all egift cards, and I use them right away. Never once have I had a problem. I may get burned, but till then.....

I agree have used card cash multiple times and never had a problem. Once they sent me instore instead of internet gift cards and they even refunded my money.
