Reminds me of rental cars :\ I think if your budget limits you into buying a brand new car for 8k you're better off buying a pre-owned Prius for 8k instead

Yeah you can, push the clutch in, change to first, push in clutch change to second.

Ive never driven a manual but I can manage it, id have to go a bit slower and give myself room though.

Their most reliable vehicles were the trucks/explorers of the 80s/90s.

Had a 1998 explorer 5.0 up to 225k with no issues, sold it and and got a 2000 5.0 with 95k miles. Set for another 10 years at minimum.
