Wasn't there some issue with the UK 4K Planet Earth 2 on US players. I got in on a US version of PE so I didn't really pay attention.

This deal is for The Blue Planet II. I also have the 4K version of PE which I bought from the UK, I didn't have any issues watching it.

Cool, I just figured if there was in issue with PE this one might be the same. I think it was an Xbox one S issue but i think updates fixed. Will probably pick this up and cancel if a better deal comes around.

UK Planet Earth 4k discs played fine in US players, but the Blurays included were Region Free, but UK 50Hz encodes which means only some US players would play them.

I would expect the same issues with Blue Planet II so if you need./want the Blurays and aren't sure about your player then I'd suggest waiting. The X-Box One should have been able
to handle both the 4K and 50Hz BD though. The XBoxOne has has issues with several UHD discs incl US Discs though, but firmware upgrades have helped some of the issues
