Thanks, I actually had this offer in my account: Exxon/Mobil: Earn 100 points on your next Synergy fuel purchase of 5 gallons or more.

Better than nothing! YMMV

I'm less than enamored with the Plenti program ever since I started using their shopping portal, since I only get the points about 1/4 of the time even after contacting customer service. Nonetheless, I've never had problems getting the gas points and it's a little something extra off so I keep using it for that.

Does anyone know what will happen to Plenti in regard to it's affiliation w/Rite Aid after its merger is completed w/Walgreens next year?

There was a pretty good Plenti deal with Exxon Mobile's speedpass+ that gives $20 for 3 x 10 gallon fills. Also the AT&T Uverse referral deal at $39 is not bad either. I am not very optimistic about Plenti's future though. There used to be monthly plenti points from Hulu and AT&T. Now both seem to be pretty much out. I'd cash out those points as soon as I can.

Walgreens is only purchasing a lot of Rite Aid locations, mainly in the South, Midwest, and upper Northeast....they aren't merging. Obviously once they become Walgreens, they won't accept Plenti. Although rumor is Macy's may drop Plenti soon too. I never understood the reward program...all the places it is valid at are overpriced to begin with.

While that is mostly true, there were/have been some pretty decent deals. I bought $30 Amazon Gift Card that qualified for Rite Aid's spend $30 get $10 Plenti points promotion.
Also Hulu was running for a long time twice a month $6 for "watching" specific shows.
That is usually enough to cover the monthly fees they charge making Hulu free or almost free.
(The monthly no commercial sub costs 12.74 including taxes.) Most recently $20 from Exxon has been around for a few months. I also found Plenti is one of the few places that gives $39 for a new AT&T FIber line. (A competitor of SD told me they do not give cashbacks for ATT Fiber.)

However I think Plenti is very likely going away next year. A loyalty business website mentioned that AMEX is having "discussions with founding partners" about Plenti's future...

Thanks OP, I added both offers.

This hasn't been a great rewards program - I earn/use it exclusively through Mobil gas purchases and the benefits (100pts every month or other month) haven't been great. 100 pts takes a few tanks to earn, even with promos, and that equals $1 savings. Kroger fuel points have been much better.
