Cheapest it has ever been according to CCC. I use these for a full grown GSD that uses them daily and they last quite a while (6-8 months). Best rope that I have found.

Large [amazon.com] is also only $3 but is an add on item (can get around it using Alexa)

Pro Tip. Go to the hardware store, in the bulk rope and chain section find thick cotton rope and buy 10' of it. Cut it into segments with a tree trimmer or other heavy duty cutter, or a razor. Tie knots.

Washes in the washing machine great with a little bleach. My local HW store sells 1" white cotton rope for under a buck a foot. I still have chunks of it from 15 years ago. GSD and a lab pit bull mix and my former generation of rottweiller/mastiff mix, malamute and german short hair pointer couldn't put a dent in it.

Sorry, but I can't help but laugh at these comments. My tree trimmer and heavy duty table saw are in the shop right now. As much as I'd like to lose a limb making my own dog's rope toy, I think I'd rather pay the $4.

Multiple GSD household here. Thanks for the heads up. Made in Mexico I can deal with. Would have passed if it was made in China. Got a 3 and a 5 knot one.

What a great price! I bought the Mammoth Cottonblend 5 Knot Dog Rope Toy, XX-Large back in June at Chewy.com for $13.99 no tax. My Malamute/Husky puppy mix has already broken most of it. Which is amazing considering she breaks all her other toys quickly lol. Definitely prefer the ropes with more knots, that slowed down how quickly my puppy broke down the rope. The XL 5 knot for that price amazing!! Thank you!

So since that is pretty much about the same price, I am assuming the difference is the quality? Not sure how a dog could not put a dent in a rope, I might try this out though. Have a few ropes around the house that a new great Pyrenees love chewing on. We have had him got about 6 months and 2 of the ropes are pretty shredding. One is about 2" thick too.

Yup.

Cracks me up when people spend $14 at Chewy's to buy something they can so easily make themselves.

Brilliant marketing. I should start selling these.

These dog ropes won't last a day! Just threw away black strands that use to be a knoted rope. I went to a dog fair and got a tuff football which is guaranteed to last or your money back.

Thanks for your response I was about to bite, but my dog being a midget has teeth like a big dog. I have bought him numerous toys and every toy he destroys except one of those Kongs I bought a while back in Amazon he tries and tries, but can't destroy that big boy.
