For those who may want to compare it to their Fubar, this $29.97 at HOmedepot, $19.92 at Sears plus the usual surprise points coupons etc a useless tool but I bought it to burn expiring points. Waiting for the zombie apocalypse...

I agree, these are useless tools (well, nearly useless). Jack-of-all = master-of-none. Just give me the right tool for the job and if I have five different jobs that require five different tools, so be it.

That works just fine as a philosophy until you end up carrying whatever you need yourself on foot, or weight and bulk become a major factor for other reasons. Then it doesn't work anymore, and if you do enough of that you become a big fan of versatility, even if it means not having the perfect tool for each job.

But yeah, in this case I looked into this tool once and there were a number of reports of it breaking in real use. Apparently it's some sort of cast steel, not forged, so... not worth the weight in those circumstances either.
