Got my keyboard today, and so far I'm really happy with it. It's big, but that was expected, and I expected louder noise, but it isn't. The only minor complaint is that keycaps angle a little away from you, which is slightly weird to get used to.

I would buy another one for the missus!

ARGG. I so want a mechanical keyboard but I really will only be buying it for gaming and for that reason i will keep waiting for Consair Reds..........This isnt bad i research and if someone wants a keyboard for typing and macros this is as good as you can get for the price. Def recommend people to buy it specially with Logitech support. They are amazing will replace the keyboard for free.

Hmm, been using a Razer keyboard with their greens? Similar to blues mainly for typing. Buts its loud, starting a new job and they probably wouldn't appreciate the sound lol. How's this for typing?

edit: nevermind, these are my blues it seems.

Browns are a significantly quieter than blues because they don't have the actuation click, but you'll still get the noise from bottoming out. What you should look into is getting a brown board and then modifying it with o-rings. That should be quiet enough in most office environments. Sound would be on par with a regular membrane keyboard at that point.

I got this last time, and typing on it right now. I love it. Although, the buttons are a tad stiff, so it tests the finger strengths. Wink

Tempted to get a spare, but....

My old keyboard died after like 6 years of use so this was great. I can't live without volume controls and a numpad, and I've used this before. Great item.

Yeahhhhh, I got an e-mail from HR about how loud my blue switch keyboard was. It didn't stay at the office very long to say the least, but three years later it still works and I love having it at home!

Bought the brown version from walmart when it was 50 ymmv. Definitely worth it. Came with o-rings pre-installed. Something so satisfying about using a mechanical keyboard...

I got one today and the box says G710+ Blue... not G710 (no "+"). I thought there is only G710+ brown. Any thoughts guys? I bought it anyway, but have not opened it yet.

Edit: just opened it and it is pretty clicky and loud. I think these are blue switches and just a re-branded G710.
