Scotts Miracle Gro 6' Steel Stakes, Green, 20-Pack, YMMV, tons available nationwide for $1 or less

Can't believe these are being cleared out for so cheap, regardless of being end of season or not. I grabbed 5 packs of 20 and paid $0.50 each... 2.5 cents per stake! I will use some in the spring in my yard, dad's, sister's, other sister's, etc. Maybe use as javelins, throwing spears? The steel alone is worth more as scrap.

Scotts Miracle Gro 6' Stakes are shaped with a point and are ribbed for use with trees and shrubs. These garden accessories are also an effective choice for tomatoes, beans and other vertical-growing plants. Simply drive them into the ground next to stalks and trunks for increased stability. Made of rustproof material, they will withstand exposure to the elements. These steel stakes come in a 20-pack.

Well reviews are 4.5/5, so seems like theses at least do what they're supposed to. Can you explain how these do more harm than good?

The more harm than good is regarding their chemicals. Irrelevant to this post.

Ahhh ok I get it. How many people are actually boycotting though? I hadn't even heard of this.

Nothing "Miracle Grow" about it, other than the brand name. I was hoping these were also fertilizer stakes like the ones you hammer into the ground around trees and shrubs.
Great deal if you need to stake a tree or like OP said have a javelin contest. Hmm, it is vampire season. I prefer wood for them though. I will keep an eye out for some next trip. My stores have some according to BS. TU!

Reviews say they are thin and hollow. Only good for light duty applications, but at $1 per pack (by me) you cant go too wrong buying a few packs to have on hand.

For heavier applications, I just use cheap rebar.

plenty available at a store 20 miles away for $1 each; but when I try to order them there, it comes up at $25 each. Any way to order them for $1 each? I hate to drive that far only to find out brickseek was wrong.

I may be a bit new to the game, but it shows $29 for me. Im not sure how to get it for $1? How does one utilize brickwork to one's own advantage? Do tell?

Click on the link to the brickseek website I put in my original post, there you can search the inventory and in store price of your local Walmart stores by putting your zip code in. Find one with stock and a price you're happy with and either go buy it in store, or online order it with that as the pick up store and when you pick it up, they will auto adjust the online price to the in store price. Just make sure it it says pick up is for today or tomorrow. If it says a date, don't do it as it will be actually ship to store and you will not get the in store price.

Thank you for asking this. And thank you to OP for answering.
Must be too many gardeners in my area. All out of stock, but repped for your awesome find I wish I could be part of.
