welcome6aa is the latest one but didn't work for me. I used the previous one two weeks ago.

You will give them no choice but to modify the system, or restrict the categories. The codes are 'welcome' codes for a reason, for new customers once use. 17% has to be a loss on some items. If the door on a strangers house is unlocked, are you the type just to walk right in because they left a welcome mat out?

If that was the case, they would have done it months ago. Codes have been regularly posted every few weeks for months now.

Haha. This is a government organization that doesn't have to show a profit on anything. Yes, on the whole they turn a "profit" which is put back into military base morale programs, but there are no shareholder's screaming at them if they are inefficient or even idiotic in some ways. If you've ever been in an AAFES store, you've seen 2010-capacity SD cards for 2010 prices and things like that. I once bought DSLR from them for about half of what other retailers had it for. Their posted price though, was about $100 more than those prices. When I asked for a price match, the clerk came back and said, that the price they had posted was wrong and the price was about $300 lower. "Uh, I'll take it". I'm convinced AAFES, commissaries, and Tricare are the reason the military stays conservative-leaning. We've seen what happens when gubment tries running a business or other things it shouldn't. Zero chance they catch on to this forum.

I agree. Online shopping and in store customer service customer service can't communicate. They can't scan the online receceipt to see what was paid and prices vary widely between online and in store so online returns in the store are painful. Truly inefficient.

The new code must not work on everyone's account. Have tried it multiple times of different items and no go. And I haven't used that code before.

Love the idea of this thread. I have signed up for e-mail newsletter multiple times, double-checked the information....it shows fine, but I STILL have not received a single promotional/marketing e-mail. Phone support couldn't help resolve this issue either.

So this thread would be very helpful for me. Promo code worked fine for me...no issues. Thanks again!

Code expires Oct 19th, please update the details. I would also suggest if we are going to finally get these codes into one thread, add the Star Card Promo for the first day purchase, and also add in how to obtain these codes (reminding to check junk/spam folders). Lastly, i would add that you can have your spouse sign up also so you can have a second account and be able to use the same code twice!

I believe codes are only allowed on an account if you haven't used one in the past 30 days. I am going to be able to test this out in a couple days so i will follow up.

Keep the codes going!
