I love my Lg Urbane non-lte until it was upgraded to Android Wear 2.0. Ever since Ok google voice assistance has been inconsistent and laggy.

Is that the same with this watch?

Model # for this deal is W270, the one you have is W150/W200 (if you have sim in it)

W270 in this deal doesn't require SIM

AW2.0 made mine unusable. OK Google would take 10 seconds to load and by that time it would stop listening to me. If it ever did hear something, it would timeout trying to execute or recognize what I said.

Fortunately, I was able to figure out how to downgrade it back to AW1.5 and disable the updates. Took me a couple of hours of searching on XDA Developers, but it was well worth it. Works great on AW 1.5.

Mine does not have sim, hence i said non-lte. But i do know my model is different than this one, that's why I am asking if this is any better than mine, since this comes with Android 2.0 natively instead of as an upgrade.

I'm in the same boat as you and the other poster with my LG Urbane, my OK Google is unusable on AW 2.0. Can't believe Google hasn't fixed it yet. I love some of the AW 2.0 features but hate the lag it introduced! Hopefully this newer one this thread is about doesn't have the same issues.

I think Ok Google is turned off by default in AW 2.0
You have to hold the physical button for a second to activate it.

Correct. Sorry, I should have said Google Assistant, not OK Google. I have OK Google detection turned off.

To be clear, my point was that AW 2.0 introduced a ton of lag that wasn't there with AW 1.5 but I live with it because some of the updates to the watch face (like complications and styles) are worth it to me.

Has Google shelved AW yet? It's really on life support at this point.
