It's new right? Sorry for asking, but I couldn't tell, and wanted to recommend this to a few friends

TN and FHD... Nah. If this was IPS it would be a good deal.

Good starter 144hz gsync monitor.
If it is NiB it comes with a good 3 year warranty from acer.

Mine got a vertical green line about a year in and the replaced it no problem. (I had to pay for shipping.)

My son has this. Out of the box colors are horrid had to boost everything. When he first set it up he wanted to return it but after tweaking it it's acceptable as long as your not used to an IPS or VA panel Smilie

IPS panels are much slower than a TN. If it was IPS, it wouldn't be a gaming monitor any longer.

If you disagree, find me an IPS 1ms 144Hz monitor.

Yes response time is better on TN, I think the lowest I have seen on IPS is 3 or 4, but you won't notice the difference as much as you will notice the washed out colors on TN. Valid point though.

These G-sync monitors make a huge difference in FPS games. I got a dell S2716DGR which is also TN panel. The color is washed out compared to IPS but I don't mind it in gaming.

Depends on what kind of gaming you're doing. If it's a fast-paced online multiplayer game and you're wanting to be competitive, those few ms make quite a bit of difference.
