Great price. Definitely the lowest I've ever seen it new from an authorized dealer.

Mine's still going strong after about 5 years.

Nice find OP.

Nice flash but man they keep introducing new models to raise the pricing bar. While this has some cool features, its raw performance isn't really much better than the SB-600 which I paid like 100 dollars less for a few years ago.

Thank you! I've been wanting to get a flash for few months now. Can anyone recommend a good diffuser?

Try aiming the flash up and at an angle with a slightly bent business card attached with a rubber band to the flash. Always worked great for me.

Pretty sure they are matching a target clearance I saw this morning. So those who have a red card can save 5%

That's built in, you can see the little white card on top of the slide out diffuser in the product pics.

Your link doesnt work, the item number isnt in your post, and who's listing is it, some random scammer for all we know. I even gave you the benefit of the doubt and searched and there's no SB-700s for less that are new.
Ignore that guy... there's a flood of new SD users who randomly spam threads with the eBay deals page. SD keeps banning them and they just keep opening new accounts.

The problem is sometimes it's mod roulette on whether or not their initial posts like that get deleted, since all his comments have disappeared I'd say he's been handled.

For what it is worth. I have used an SB200 for a long time. All my gear is Nikon, but I wanted some flashes. I didn't want to spend a ton as I don't use them much and didn't expect to use them a ton. So after looking around I purchased this kit: https://www.amazon.com/Altura-Pho...tura+flash

So far I have been super impressed. Quality is awesome. Everything seems to function great. Now I have only been using it a month or so, but again I am impressed. 2 flashes and remote triggers. I have shot SB600's and I feel like the quality is right there.

I can't say long term how it will hold up, but initial quality and use is great. And if you don't want to spend a ton...for $140 or less you can get a pretty decent kit to try. I got mine from amazon warehouse for around $110 and it came perfect.

And if you just wanted one flash they have a single flash kit for half the price https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00H84WRK2?psc=1

Just gonna put a plug in for the black foamy thing as a modifier if you get this. Neil VN knows what he's doing.
