There is only 220 IU vitamin D in these. When anyone in my family get sicks (or just whenever), our dose is two 5000 IU gels.

My kiddos take these for the calcium. I don't care about the extra Vitamin D because they take a separate vitamin D, and also get some from their multi. This should be plenty for everyday use when combined with a multivitamin. And agree about upping the does of D and C when you're getting a cold, but that isn't necessary every day.

Unfortunately, it's one or the other.. Coupon doesn't work if you are getting both.

You sure about this? Not prime, not subscribe & save, and not at 3.88. More like $16...

""Q: Hello,is it Halal ( not contain any pork source)?

A: I sent an email to the company and here is the reply I got,
Dear Ms. Ali:
Thank you for taking the time to contact Church & Dwight Co., Inc. about Vitamins, Minerals and Supplements.
In response to your inquiry, the gelatin we use is derived from pork skin. No other portion of the pig or any other animal is used. see less Marwa Ali | 9 months ago ""

Does not the multivitamin have enough calcium for daily requirement? Not sure if too much calcium not good for body.....
