This is just a comment on the anolon pans. I bought these a few years ago, and while they are tough as far as scratches go, the "non-stick" quality disappeared sooner than on any of my other non-stick pans. I am going to have to replace them, which I hate to do, because they are very sturdy and heavy and the handle feels great. Everythink just sticks to them, even when using non-stick spray.

I've checked and double-checked them all and they do work. I had problems with a few pages coming up in Safari, and have had to reload them several times to get them to work, but Firefox worked fine.

*** UPDATE *** - I tinkered a bit more, with DaisyBeetle's help, and hopefully fixed them for everyone.

the "non-stick" quality disappeared

Thanks for the input! It is very valuable. Am looking for one for our house and don't want my wife to make me wear it for a hat when it does not work out.

I haven't had that experience, and I've owned a set for at least a dozen years. They do have a lifetime warranty, so you can get them replaced if they are defective.

Typically you are absolutely not supposed to use nonstick spray on nonstick pans, it ruins them over time.

Just get a carbon steel wok and work in that seasoning and it'll be a healthy nonstick eventually.

I own this wok. I used it everyday heavily for nearly 2 years. The nonstick surface lasts longer than other wok I have used. But it does become sticky. I hate the extra large lid and the handle. But the wok itself is high quality. For $30 it is a good buy.
