According to the lionel site, this is "Ready-to-play" gauge. Specifically says not compatible with G gauge.

Also, 3x AAA battery powered for remote, 6x C batteries for loco making this more of a toy than a collection or display model.

Anyone know the smallest circular track you could make with this? Wondering if I would have room to place it under a 4 foot tree that's on a round end table.

Weird, the bullet point says it's G-Gauge, but in the description it says "As this track system is exclusive to Ready-to-Play set, it is not compatible with Lionel G Gauge or other G Gauge track systems."

Its not g-scale. The track it runs on is roughly g-gauge but not quite. Difference is big enough to make it not compatible with standard g-gauge track.
