There is a reason it is on clearance because it is BAD.

Mighty no. 9 and Tales from the borderlands (PS4) has been $5 at 3 of the Walmarts around my area for a few months, doesn't seem to be a lot of takers even at that price.

Tales from the Borderlands is an excellent game. It just has a rather niche audience who both enjoy Telltale games and Borderlands style and humor.

This game was okay. I paid $15 for it. The story is decent, but it is a Mega Man clone and the last boss is ridiculous.

Just saw this for $8 at Family Dollar for Xbone. What's so bad about it?

It was supposed to bring back the blue bomber and was a huge letdown

I'm playing Tales from the Borderlands now. Loving it! Got it when it was $5.88 at Target.

If you don't compare it to a straight Mega Man clone, it actually wasn't a terrible game.

Once you get used to the dashing and absorbing of enemies it's fun trying to get through every level as fast as you can with the highest rating.

But like other posters have said, the last boss is brutal on higher difficulties.

I bought this last time it was $11 on Amazon. It's fun, but not $11 fun. Spend that money on something else tbh.

It's a game you have to try for yourself. It really isn't as bad as people say it is. It can be very difficult but fun. I will agree that the voice acting isn't very good, but the game itself is at least worth the $10 price tag

It isn't that the last boss is brutal. (for what it's worth she isn't) the game has a plethora of problems and is last boss is not the problem m
That said, it's not a good game. Hopefully you picked it up on a system that can run it as well. (pc, ps4 or xbone) anything else and it lags to hell and back and that isn't on the graphic intensive parts.

There aren't too many game breaking bugs. A few nuisances here and there but mostly the gameplay problems come from poor design choices in a few spots. I'll pick on a segment in Mighty no 4s stage

There comes a point where you at dropping down on ledges grabbing them descending slowly. At one point, the camera doesn't descend where it needs to be while at the same time a speech bubble comes up, combine these two things and you have a very unwarranted death trap.

The game is riddled with instant death traps that will screw up new players, but it isn't necessarily a bad thing. The bad part comes from the above example where there was no way to predict it without foresight.

My other complaint comes from the achievement to beat the entire game without dying. In a game where in any given level there's more death traps than enemies, it makes for requiring perfection. Not a bad thing for achievements, but when the game likes to crash, and often, it creates a lot of headaches. (this was playing on the ps4) my good runs were frequently ruined by the game unexpectedly closing.

To this day, only the Wii u version has had any patches to fix any of the bugs.

The music is pretty bland, and there aren't a lot of variety of enemies. Only a few stages have any unique ones so get used to the same 7/8 little guys.

That about sums up my complaints with it. Mighty no 9 is a fun experience that has a lot of problems. The bosses are entertaining to fight, and special weapons for the most part are all useful in their own ways. Don't expect this to be the next mega man, because it's definitely not in spirit or quality. But it's an ok enough game to have a decent time with.

I hate on the game because of how awesome it could have been in different hands
