Good Deal. But it may not be good value. It only has one character vs 3-4 on star wars or previous years. This set hasn't been reviewing well. I'm holding out for deals on star wars or lego city advents.

Kinda makes me wish I had held out, I bought the deal from lego's site for 30 or whatever the other day. But it comes with a TON of extras, so not all bad I guess.

You should have waited also this week for the double points.
I jumped the gun since this is better deal than double points for me.

This set seems really skimpy compared to last year. There were entire placesettings of dishes, ice skates, musical equipment, and several figures. A few more animals this time, but much less of other accessories.

Thanks! Snagged it. 217 buildable pieces for $25 total (tax and free prime 1 day ship) was worth it to me!!! Less candy

Yeah I agree. I noticed that too. Only one figure? That's pretty bad. I would switch to the lego city one or Star Wars but I have a 5 yo girl so what are you going to do. She kept looking forward to the minifigures so I hope she won't be disappointed.

There is also a 15% off coupon (clip on product page), pay with AMEX points (i pay $0.01 with 1 point) and get an additional 20% off, total after both discounts = $15.43 before tax.

The city one is the only one this year I really like. Last year's Star Wars one was far superior, as it had many cool minifigs. I don't even like this year's. If retail on these was $25 I think it would make more sense.

Ordered the following additional items for a pretty nice deal:
LEGO Friends Puppy Playground 41303 Building Kit
Plus, if you haven't already, add for free:
Wickedly Prime Sweet 'n' Cheesy Popcorn Mix, Caramel & Cheddar, 12 Ounce

Might depend on location, but I was able to get 2 no rush credits on the order of the three items.

There were only two figs in the Lego Friends calendar last year, but that's better than one, which is ridiculous. There were also much better supporting pieces. The price dropping to $23 reflects this. My daughter complained endlessly last year about how many more figs and cool vehicles my son got in the star wars advent calendar. I also agree that last year's SW calendar was also better - Chewie and ROTJ Luke w/light saber makes any lego set - though BB-8 is his favorite, so as soon as he gets the BB-8 with the Santa hat, he won't have any complaints.

We went with the Disney Tsum tsum calendar for her. Basically a character every day and no small pieces to lose when she decides that, even though it's 5 am on a weekend, she's free to open a new box on her own.

The star wars one is definitely worth waiting on. Bought it last year and it was a big hit with lots of characters included.

the friends set looks crappy for what it is. I still bought one for my daughter, but the city set looks much better.
