I don't know specifically in this case, but generally men's formulations do not have iron. Men and post menopause women don't need supplemental iron. Thus men and senior vitamins don't have it. Too much iron can be a problem.

It's not a matter of digestion, but of ingestion. Vitamin pills tend to be horse sized. They are big. For the same reason there are chewables for children, some people have problems swallowing big pills. Specifically older people Chewables for adults take care of that problem.

Going to try these instead of the one a day I have now.... I forget to take them 99 out of 99 days. Maybe if these taste good I will finally take vitamins. So far though I haven't needed them. Maybe nobody really does....
