I had a good number copies of this thing from bestbuy phone/table/PC purchase. I recommend this product to no one. Webroot is terrible, you better just go with the free ones.

Completely disagree. I've been using webroot for years for home and work and on my relatives computers and have never had a virus issue. The reason I swear by it is on top of being effective it is excellent on resource usage as compared to every other antivirus I've used.

Thanks. Been using this for years in our house. Never any problems and very light on PC.

Let me put this way, security software is a classifier, differentiate the good and bad files. It should not just protector your pc from the bad ones, also should recognize the good ones correctly. The best classifier will classify the good one as good and the bad ones as bad. Messup either way is a sign of unreliable classifier.
It happened before, a security software deleted a key component of Windows, so the user has to re-install the os. Not to mention it may delete your important data too.

Some don't think Webroot is as good as Bitdefender, or Norton. Even Kaspersky, if you are not in the Russia/NSA hacking story.

I prefer Webroot over any other antivirus cause it doesn't take up as much RAM compared to the rest of the antivirus I've had

Bought it even though I don't need it until Jan. 2018 but doubt it's going get any cheaper.
Been using Webroot for 3 years along with Malwarebytes and all is well to date.
