I don't see the rebate. Did they take it down?

I thought the rule of thumb was that you should allocate 3X what you pay for the receiver for your speaker setup.

Where's that $33 5.1 receiver I'm supposed to mate this with?

Here you go... Harman Kardon AVR. [ebay.com]
It is $7 more than what you came with with the formula Smilie

Have heard these speakers in small apartment... excellent price for these!

The rebate expired yesterday before the sale. Good luck applying it after!

I'm also very curious about what receiver to pair this with. It does seem a little strange to get speakers that are half the cost of what they're connected to.

How do these compare to HKTS16? It's much cheaper than their refurbished units..

The speakers wire into the sub, so really none needed. Just use a tos link and get audio from your computer or TV directly. I'd personally MUCH rather have this than a $100 soundbar.

I'm sorry to disappoint you, but the speakers do no wire into the sub. The speakers are not independently powered, so connecting them directly to a computer or TV will do nothing. The subwoofer is powered, but the satellites and center are not (which is normal and what you would expect from a 5.1 speaker bundle). You NEED an A/V receiver.
