The 770/880/990 series are from the most comfortable headphones you can get regardless of price (imho of course Wink). I own the 250 & 650ohm 880's but I hear the 770 & 990's are equally as comfortable.

Ugh... I just paid $20 more last month when it was on the FP.

Hopefully this is still around tomorrow - will call and ask for a price adjustment.

Sweet price if you have the Amp to drive them... and if not, it's worth getting one laugh out loud

Reminder that the Newegg/Focus Camera sale on the DT880 Black edition is still going on, $129 + $10 Newegg GC. Note this one is 250 ohms rather than 600 ohms.

Both solid deals in my opinion. Thanks.

If these are like the standard DT-880s (I had the other version, not the 600ohm ones), they're suuuuuper comfortable (though I can't complain about my $50 SHP9500s either).

The big caveat with these is that the cable is awkwardly soldered inside the headphones. I destroyed my last pair trying to fix a broken one...and I didn't get them on sale (which is why I bought the SHP9500s - they don't sound the same, but they have a jack instead of a soldered-in cord and I'm not out $150+ if I mess up trying to fix them).

If you own or just bought these - when that connection does break, take them to a professional unless you've got mad soldering skills and won't melt the plastic like I did.
