They are awful. They drain batteries even when off. So every 2-3 weeks, the batteries are exhausted even with no use.

Costco has the newer version that claims to have fixed this issue. They mention it prominently on the packaging.

I have these flashlights and the batteries last over a year. I have one in my car, one in the garage and one in the house with no problems whatsoever. Costco does have the new 380 lumens so I believe there trying to get rid of these.

Over the last few years, I've purchased 3-4 of the larger Duracell flashlights from Costco. Great value (especially on sale), but a few of them--but not all---will drain batteries quickly.

I believe it's the poor design/construction of the switches which leads to a slow (or fast) battery drain. But YMMV, apparently.

I don't see these on their website any longer, but they were there awhile back, and the reviews were terrible.
