You can order through the Amazon Music app now. The newest update put in an Alexa button. Just tap it and say "go shopping" or "order an item" and Alexa will respond "what would you like to order?" I do this all the time on my android phone.

Maybe a dumb question but is there a way to order via Alexa without an echo or similar device?

Do you have a Kindle Fire? ... some (maybe later models?) have Alexa.
Or, do you know someone who has Alexa who can order for you?

In the past you could pre-order a video game along with your add-on item. Usually they would ship the add-on first and then you could cancel the video game pre-order. Haven't done it in a while though.

Last time I had to cancel a pre-order movie was because I opted for a steelbook version somewhere else, and they made me jump through hoops for a cancellation.
