Just a feedback from My side. Got it from last deal from buydig at the same price
1. Watch is decent looking
2. But as others pointed, lack of any light makes it impossible to use in dark
3. My watch started losing time after 10 days
4. Raised issue with buydig, they happily took it back so kudos to them for it

Overall, decent watch with good built quality but I wont buy it again

Question:
Is this water resistant or waterproof? [amazon.com]

Answer:
Yes, 5 ATM or 50 meters.
By M on June 25, 2016It has a water proof/resistant rating. It's on their website. I have had mine for a week. Showered with it washed cars, no issues so far. I like it.

Garmin claims the Vivomove is good down to five atmospheres. This is a depth of 50 meters (150 feet). A lot deeper that I plan to go.

Looks like a lot of the negative reviews on these are related to synching with the Garmin app, it seems that they have worked this out. Good deal for $50

Have worn it in the shower without problems. Scuba diving? Maybe.

Garmin, yes. Garmin GPS, no.

Without that, still a decent deal.

I own the Black classic and wear it everywhere (shower, pool, dishes) so it should be waterproof.

If I had to re-do my purchase tho, I'd opt for the Sport because the leather band on the Classic tends to get a bit gross from moisture. Even after drying it maintains a lot of stains. Prob how leather works, but it clashes with the functional nature of a waterproof activity band. I also think the Black Sport model pops a bit more with the silver contrasting parts.

Altho if you can rock it, the White Classic looks the best.

I bought this from the last deal from Buydig. BEWARE: the battery doesn't last long on their (old?) stock. You will have to get it replaced soon after you pull the tab for the battery.
