I personally have been using Braven Pro for 14 months, and it has been the best outdoor/rugged Bluetooth speaker I have tested. The speaker itself is now retailed for 89 dollars at BestBuy, without any accessories. This 40 dollar bundle comes either with a solar panel module or a powrbank module you can attach to the speaker to give it some extra boost.

For the solar panel bundle:

Yes, but it's only 5V x 1A output.

Used is for $20 and Refurb for $30.

Can the solar Panel run the speaker with 0% battery? Or does it only make it last a little longer.

I came across techrabbit last week looking for Braven speakers, I was unsure of it being a reputable company. Does anyone have any input or experiences? Thanks

According to the reviews, it doesn't look like it.

But it does hold the charge, so I just plan to leave the solar panels on and open since I'm working on roofs all day. Got the certified-preowned version.

I have one of these speakers and really enjoy it. Great sound and durability. Wish I had the solar panel.

There's no way that panel produces more then a few watts under direct sunlight. It would prob take 24 hours of direct sunlight to give a measurable charge. The speaker does look burly as hell though

I have been using this speaker with its solar panel module in the summer at the beach, it does help the speaker last a little bit longer. But for the same price I would go with the power bank module, it's more practical.

I just thought I would give my thoughts about this speaker.I bought this speaker from walmart when it was on clearance for 35 bucks. I saw it on slickdeals walmart clearance list.

Personally, I own this speaker for about 1 year. Its great. No problems at all. Planning to pick up another one for this price because it comes with that battery pack.

Loud
Small
Easy to use
Connects fast
Long battery life

What I do not like about this speaker is that it's not "360" so that means if the speaker is placed on the table, the people on the opposite end won't be getting that good quality audio from the speaker. You would have to place it in a corner so the speaker can shoot out the audio so everyone can hear it evenly. To counter this, im planning to pick up this braven and mount it together with my old braven. That way, the audio will spread from the front and the back so it creates a better speaker (I hope). Heck if i want to crack it up, ill just stack the two facing the same direction and place it in the corner.

This price is really really good especially how it comes with that battery pack for the braven. I'm not an expert in speakers but I can say that my money was worth it for 35-40 bucks. However, I realized that the speaker retailed from 100-150 which i feel its garbage for the price.

Pick this speaker up if you want a portable bluetooth speaker for a cheap price. You wont be disappointed!

Those 360-degree speakers like you mentioned are very new, and significantly more expensive than others, Braven Pro and most Bluetooth speakers are portable speakers so non-360 degrees is pretty normal, you just have to set it in a corner. Some of the 360 degree speakers include Bose Revolve and Revolve+, Google Home, Samsung Radiant 360 are all in a totally different price range.

Also, if you are picking up another one of this Braven Pro like I did, I suggest you to buy a stack plate for 10 bucks from Amazon or 11 from Walmart, that will allow you to stack two speakers together to give it extra lounder sound.
