Please research yourself if this TV will be right for you. The below is inaccurate. See Post #51. This TV is great.

THIS 2016 B6P IS THE ONLY OLED SET THAT WILL LIKELY NOT GET NEW FIRMWARE WITH NEW FEATURES SINCE IT DOES NOT HAVE THE POWER TO RUN THEM. IT'S A DOG IN LG's LINE. AVOID.

what are people's thoughts on OLED? Are you really seeing a major improvement in picture from 4k 120hz HDR to 4k OLED?

OLED technology itself offers the best colors on any TV's IMO. This one is 4K HDR and OLED. nod

The 2016 B series have underpowered hardware and will not perform at the same level as the C, E, G from 2016 or any of the 2017 models. It's the dog version of the OLED line from 2016 and 2017.

This is not a deal I would recommend. Prices are falling fast on the 2017 models and any of them would be better than this.

No comparison to LED. HDR on an OLED is unbelievably great. LCD/LED can't touch it, even Samsung's QLED gimmick.

I just wish Netflix would crank out HDR content faster!

Depends on improvement and person. If you mean color and just how wow it looks then yes but OLED can be plague with banding.

I bought the Sony A1E about a moth ago and I'm loving every second one of it, the LG OLED display + Sony's incredible motion processioning makes it jaw dropping.

I mean if you compare the Z9D to OLED, you come really close and that's the only alternative for OLED if you don't want to deal with it.

The point stands. LED/LCD can't touch OLED. The BEST effort only comes kinda close and costs about 25-40% more than the going rate for OLED. So, fail.

yup, if you care about picture quality in anyway oled is so far ahead, and the gap should only get bigger as they refine the manufacturing process. LCD is only better if you want a budget tv and OLED is out of your price range.

Does anybody know if the picture of the in-store price would work for Price Protection through any of the major credit card companies?

Poor customer support and refuses to honor warranty claims for an issue where the cursor from the remote appears in the middle of the screen ruining movie watching experiences every time, even when there is no batteries in the remote.

They refuse to release a update for the issue and 9 calls later and one no call no show appointment later and still dealing with them. Waste of $2k+ imho.

Scared me, was about to run around to my local Sam's in the area and then realized this is last year's model. Hoping this year's model is this same price for BF.
