What use would WIFI be built into a slow cooker? Maybe turn it into a psudo sous vide, that's all I got.

My understanding is that the updated app works better than the original app. It's a pretty solid slow cooker even without the WIFI capability.

Some people keep the ceramic pot with the food in the refrigerator over night and apparently it will stay cool for awhile outside of the fridge. Fire up the app later and start the cooker. Others like the ability to adjust the time or cooking temperature. I'm with you, not sure if the WIFI is that big of a deal on a slow cooker, but we will see.
