Ship date is Nov 6. By then the 1070 Ti will have been released which will push 1070 prices down.

Just remember that MSRP is $350...
interesting, can you provide a source?
the FE launched for $399 and reference cards typically go higher. i do recall the price dropped to around $360's at some point in time until the mining craze pushed it up to ridiculous highs, yet I never saw that MSPR.

yes it will be very interesting to see what price the Ti is actually sold for by the retailers, even though the MSPR is suppose to be $429-439. the TDP of the 1070Ti is rated at 180W same as a 1080, unless the hash rate will be incredibly higher than the 1070 with 150W TDP, with cryptocurrencies at a all time high at this point, I personally don't see the prices of the 1070 slipping down anytime soon. that is just my point of view.

1070 official MSRP is $379.99. Back in May, they dipped to $329.99 for one day. Thats the lowest they've ever been. Right now, $400 is pretty much par for the course for a 1070.

Everyone sure is hopeful... except miners will most likely scoop up every available TI... thus negating the price effect...

well MSRP has not moved, its the price the suggested by the manufacturer to sell the product at. that hasn't moved till this day by nvidia or third parties. the dip in prices down to $329.99 does not denote MSRP, its was sale/or a special offer by the retailer. that is precisely one of the reasons why we see a lot of mail in rebates on gfx nowadays, as manufacturers do not intend to lower the MSRPs.
the demand for the pascal chips series has been so high that nvidia has not flinched, and if i am not wrong unprecedented various reference varieties have been created for the top of the line pascal chip since the release. strictly my opinion though.

for people who were waiting for 1070Ti release to help drop 1070 prices, Nvidia just shot the prices up for their 1080 with their pricing scheme

https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/gefo...x-1070-ti/
and reference cards for almost $460-500, 1080 pricing territory
