If it's on both groupon and living social for so cheap... you know something is really wrong with it.

Anyone know?

I personally think 3-cup capacity is too small for a normal household use. I have a 6-cup rice cooker for a family of 4.

I don't think it's worth the original $35 shipped price but I do think it's pretty good deal at $15ish (bought mine at a discount store for $12 a few months ago) to use as a travel rice cooker. My main use has been to cook rice when I'm at an extended stay place, I'll get some Chinese take out or something and instead of paying for extra rice I'll make a batch or 2 back at my room, saves on food costs and is healthier. Similar mini rice cookers will run you about $30.

I think they overpromised in their marketing with it making all those different kinds of foods, if you read the reviews many are talking about how they are disappointed how the recipes turned out.

And these aren't standard rice cups (go) either, more like a 0.6 go, though it is perfect for cooking rice for 1 and it gets it done in about 10min.

Groupon and Living Social are the same company now, so it's not surprising that they are on both sites nowadays. Many of the same items are on both sites. I just figured I'd mention that they were on both sites in case people have credit on one or the other.

I don't know how good it is. Seemed like a nice price for a mini rice cooker.

Save $2 with promo code SHOPNOW if you buy it from Living Social.

I am not comfortable using Aluminum. There are few studies that link it to Alzheimer's. I will avoid it and advise others too.
