Last time this was posted, people were saying they never got delivery or only got a few issues and then they stopped. Anyone have a positive experience?

It took like 4 months before my first issue arrived, but since then I've been getting them without any problems.

Does anyone know if MT or any other magazine has online resources that come with subscription? I see all the data and tables in the magazines, and I figure this HAS to be collected in one source somewhere. I'd love to have access to a tool or website that I can search, sort, or compare side by side with the specs they show in print. Sort every car that's been reviewed by 0-60 times, price, mpg, etc. I feel like there's nothing out there that does this...

I have never had a problem with motortrend. This is the second set of 4 years. I did get a 3 year Atlantic subscription thru discount mags. They are asking me to resubscribe after a year. My motto is if you have a bureaucracy there will be occasional problems. The added benefit is you get monthly harbor freight discounts (some of their stuff is good) in the motortrend issues. Some discounts are better than the $30 Harbor fright subscription. If you like motor trend this is a great deal.

There is a PAID harbor freight newsletter?! Is there single use coupons or something different that their free circular? Why not just use the coupon database ( www.hfqpdb.com) for free, and avoid needing to search through mags for the best coupon?

I've used Discountmags for a couple subscriptions to ESPN the Magazine. Got 4 years for myself for 12 bucks, and 2 years for a friend for 7 bucks.

My subscription took about 8 weeks to get the first issue, but my friends took about 6 months. I emailed them asking why it was taking so long, and they said that once they get the order, they forward the info onto ESPN, and from there, it's out of their hands. He did eventually start getting the magazine, but just FYI, it may take you a while before you start receiving your issues.

I've used Discount Mags before and still have active subscriptions. IMHO, you have to keep a close watch on these.

I have had issues before where I've had some subscriptions stop before after only a few issues. When I contacted the publisher, they said that I canceled/refused delivery which is why the issues stopped coming. I definitely did not cancel.

The harbor freight Inside track discount membership is $30/year. Many of the prices in the magazine ads in Popular Science, motor trend etc. are close to inside track and usually better than their free circulars. They are in an easy to find full color ad in the back of the magazines. I am saying if you like the magazine the discount ads are a bonus. No I don't search every page to see the HF ad. It is usually in the same place. If I need to buy something I grab a magazine and get my 20% (or 25%) off coupon and free gift. If I forget the magazine I go to retailmenot. I enjoy reading motorweek and popular science. For $3/year that is great entertainment.
