Cheap and simple, 2200mah for $1.50 at most stores with some cheaper here and there. Their 5000mah one has been working well for me since I got it on clearance.

Here are the details on the 18650 cell inside the 2200 mah charger. Chinese cell? Yes, but it's not a no-name and the capacity is good. I'm impressed.

Great Power 2200 mAH
Nominal Voltage 3.7 V
Max Voltage 4.2 V
Max Discharge 4.0 A
Spec sheet: http://www.greatpowerbattery.com....00mAh).pdf

Capacity according to my tests. Discharge at 1 A, 3.2 V cut-off: 2399 mAH.

Looks like it would charge my phone about 75%. Guess it would be a nice cheap pack to keep in the car. But then I suppose it will lose its charge in the cold too.

Probably just a generic 18650

It shows 25 available at local walmart, but store shows none or I could find one in-store.

The larger model was located in automotive of all places, this one might be as well. Or you could just do online order - pick up like I did

Has anyone busted one open to see what kind of battery is inside?

Edit:

Via the Walmart site itself OP provided the link for - it's showing in stock... so that's 2/3 saying in stock, so I guess I'm gonna try my luck...

Also, if it matters, the Walmart # is this: 56386262
------
It's interesting, the Walmart site itself says via the SKU that it's OOS in all 3 local locations for me.

Brickseek says it has various amounts, but Brickseek has been wrong before.

Good post and great deal for people who can find it, but I don't think I'll risk going tonight

SKU --- 169219074

Have to specify your store here: https://www.walmart.com/store/568...al%20Store

And then enter the SKU in that box shown on the previous link (once your store is specified, obviously)... and click "Search our Shelves"

These were right beside the $4.00 ones posted previously. Yes in the auto section in my store below car audio equipment.

None available near me at the lower price. I'll take a look for them next time I'm at the store. Says in-store purchase only, so I'm not sure how OP ordered one online for pick up
