Very nice unit. A few hundred more than I'd like to spend for it, though.

Tempting, but the 2060 does everything I need...I want it for $800! Not holding my breath, though. I currently have the 2000 and it does the job just without 4K passthrough and Atmos. Great find!

Is there any content designed for an 11.2 channel system?

Yes, 7.1.4 Atmos is although you need a 2 channel amp to do it with this.

Their feedback on eBay [ebay.com] looks favorable.

What kind of speaker system would you need to match the 11.2 channel capability?

What reaper said above is true, 7.1.4 which is what I use my A3050 for. But actually Atmos itself has no speaker limitations by design. There are high end 20 channel receivers out there. Atmos is about object placement in a 3d environment and the receiver calculates what speakers to trigger to make you hear the sound in the right position. Love my 3050 and I use an external 3 channel amp for my fronts and onboard amps for 2 rear, 2 side and 4 in ceiling speakers.

Own 3050 and it's great but 3070 is out as well around $1500
